About GAI
What we do
We specialize in developing business in foreign markets: USA - Europe – Japan. We assist clients entering foreign markets, setting realistic objectives and developing suitable strategies. We work closely together with clients helping to improve market share, sales and profits. Our ultimate goal is to establish a significant business presence for our client in a foreign market.
Typically, we represent a German client to find a qualified distributor for his products in the USA or in Japan. Or, we provide guidance and practical assistance to a European client’s American or Japanese subsidiary or partnership to improve its performance. Or, we represent an American client looking for a partner in Germany or in Japan. Or, we work with a Japanese client targeting opportunities in the American or European market.
We are well known for our cross-cultural training and development seminars focusing on “Doing business with the Americans, the French, the Germans, the Japanese.”
Who we are
We are a network of carefully selected, qualified executives. Each partner is a business expert in his/her home market and has extensive international business experience.
We are specialists in finding suitable partners in foreign markets and establishing and maintaining successful partnerships across cultural barriers.
We are “on the ground” in the USA, Germany/Europe and Japan.
Management
Ingo Regier is an international entrepreneur with a German background. Prior to establishing GAI in 1993, he held international executive positions with major international healthcare and pharmaceutical companies while living and working in the United States, several European countries and in Japan/Asia-Pacific.
Following his departure from “Corporate America”, and in direct response to the rapidly developing needs of small and medium-sized companies to compete in foreign markets, Ingo Regier developed a series of cross-cultural business seminars. These seminars help business people to better understand foreign cultures and business practices. They are based on anthropology that has been adapted for business use. They focus on the Americans, the French, the Germans and the Japanese.
Ingo Regier has degree in international business administration and attended Vienna University of Economics for postgraduate management studies. He has been published in a variety of national professional publications. He co-authored "Amerikageschäfte mit Erfolg", a guide for a successful entry into the U.S. market. In 2007, he published “Business Guide USA”, a comprehensive guide for German-speaking business people doing business with Americans.
Ingo Regier is a Member of the Board of several US-subsidiaries of German companies. He now lives in Lake Toxaway, NC, USA.
